The Youth Enterprise Equity Fund (YEEF) is a seed-stage and early-stage venture capital fund promoted by the Saint Lucia Development Bank aimed at aiding young St. Lucian entrepreneurs realise their hopes, dreams and aspirations.
We invest in young people (18 - 35 years old) who have the skills, ambition and determination to take their business idea from concept to reality and sustainability. We invest in you by purchasing shares or stock in your company.
History has shown that entrepreneurs with proper training and brilliant ideas lack one key ingredient to realise their hopes and potential--startup funding. Traditional funding sources, like loan financing usually have repayment terms that constrain the growth of the business, especially if margins are low. Cash inflows which could be used to grow the business are diverted to loan repayment.
