Representatives of the Central Bank of India were in St. Lucia for the month to help advance the process of establishing a micro finance strategy. A draft report is already in existence and has been the subject of consultations between the micro financing institutions and the visiting bank. Director Jacqueline Emmanuel says that the consultations will seek to establish the best way forward for the strategy.
