It is with profound sadness that the Board of Directors, Management and Staff of the Saint Lucia Development Bank (SLDB) announce the passing of our dear colleague and friend, Ms. Nancy Joseph, Human Resource Manager, on August 22nd, 2026.
Ms. Joseph joined the Saint Lucia Development Bank on January 10th, 2022, and served the institution faithfully until her passing on August 22nd, 2026.
During her tenure as Human Resource Manager, Nancy made a meaningful contribution to the Bank and to the lives of the people with whom she worked. Her service extended well beyond her responsibilities at SLDB, as she represented the Bank and contributed her knowledge and experience to several professional and national organisations.
In addition to her role at SLDB, Ms. Joseph served as a Board Member of the Saint Lucia Employers Federation from December 2022 and as Secretary of the Saint Lucia Bankers Association from January 1st, 2026, continuing in both capacities until her passing.
Nancy will be remembered not only for her professionalism and commitment to her work, but also for the warmth, kindness and vibrant personality she brought to the SLDB family. Her presence and contribution to our institution will be deeply missed.
The Board of Directors, Management and Staff of the Saint Lucia Development Bank extend our deepest condolences to Nancy’s family, loved ones, friends, colleagues and all whose lives she touched.
As we mourn this tremendous loss, we also celebrate her life, her service and the legacy she leaves behind.
